Now Accepting Vendor Applications: Holden Lake Farm’s November Country Market
Holden Lake Farm and Garden is opening applications for local vendors to join our 1st Country Market this holiday season, taking place inside our garden centre space at 2257 Yellowpoint Road, Nanaimo, BC. Vendors can apply for one day or multiple days — whatever fits your business.
We’re putting extra focus on supporting Canadian-owned and local businesses. Shopping local means your dollars stay in our community, support neighbours growing and making things right here on Vancouver Island, and help keep seasonal businesses like ours — and yours — thriving through the holiday season.
Market Dates
Our retail garden centre will be open to shoppers for the full two weeks from Monday, November 16 through Sunday, November 29, during our regular hours. Vendor spaces inside the garden centre will fill up across two Thursday–Sunday blocks, 11am–4pm each day:
- November 19–22
- November 26–29
Shoppers are welcome any day the farm is open, November 16–29 — note that vendors are only on-site during their individually registered dates within the two weekend blocks (Nov 19–22 and Nov 26–29), so check back or follow us for the day-by-day vendor schedule as it fills in.
For Vendors: How to Apply
We have a limited number of greenhouse spaces available across the 8 vendor days, and you can apply for as few or as many as work for you.
- Apply for: 1 day, several days, or all 8 days across both blocks
- Cost: $50 for 1 day, or $100 for 2 or more days
- Location: Inside the greenhouse at Holden Lake Farm and Garden’s retail garden centre
- Good fit for: Local makers, growers, and small Canadian businesses — holiday gifts, local food and preserves, crafts, and garden-related goods are all a great match for our shoppers
