Country Market Giveaway — Official Rules

No purchase necessary to enter or win.

1. Who runs the giveaway

The Country Market Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is run by Holden Lake Farm & Garden, 2257 Yellow Point Road, Nanaimo, BC (“the Farm”). Prizes are generously donated by vendors of the Holden Lake Farm Country Market.

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, run by or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram.

2. Who can enter

The Giveaway is open to residents of British Columbia who are 19 or older when they enter. Employees of Holden Lake Farm & Garden and the people they live with cannot enter. Vendors may not enter to win a bundle that includes their own prize.

3. Giveaway periods

There are two separate draws:

Week 1: entries open Mon Nov 2, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. PT and close Sun Nov 22, 2026 at 11am PT
Week 2: entries open Mon Nov 19, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. PT and close Sun Nov 29, 2026 at 11am PT

4. How to enter

Go to holdenlakefarm.com/win, or scan the QR code at the market, and fill in the entry form with your information.

Limit: one entry per person per giveaway period (so up to two entries online in total, one for Week 1 and one for Week 2)
Extra entries each day when you visit the farm on Monday- Wednesday (Nov 23-25) via paper entries or through our Square app
Following us and some of our vendors win instant karma points
Joining our email list is optional. You do not need to subscribe to enter or win. No purchase necessary
Entries must be received before the period closes. The Farm is not responsible for entries that are lost, late or incomplete

5. Prizes

Each giveaway period has one prize bundle. The listed values are approximate retail values provided by the donating vendors.

Prize lists may change. The bundles below reflect vendor donations confirmed as of Oct.23rd, 2026. Prizes and value may change, removed or added because of availability, a vendor’s participation, or new vendors joining before the draw.

Prizes are donated at each vendor’s discretion, and bundles may change if a vendor withdraws. Withdrawn prizes won’t be replaced. Some prizes, such as gift certificates, services, deliveries and food, are redeemed or picked up directly from the vendor, and the winner will need to contact them.

6. How winners are chosen

One winner per period is chosen by random draw from all eligible entries for that period:

Week 1 draw: Sun Nov 22, 2026 at approximately 1pm PT, at Holden Lake Farm
Week 2 draw: Sun Nov 29, 2026 at approximately 1pm PT, at Holden Lake Farm

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Claiming the prize

The Farm will contact the selected entrant by email and/or phone/text right after the draw
To win, the selected entrant must correctly answer a skill-testing question without help
Prizes are picked up in person at Holden Lake Farm & Garden. Pickup is on draw day before the market closes at 4pm, or by appointment depending on the farm’s staff availability.
If the selected entrant can’t be reached within [48 hours], doesn’t answer the skill-testing question correctly, isn’t eligible, or doesn’t pick up the prize by the deadline, the prize is forfeited and another entrant may be drawn
The winner will be asked for a photo to share on social media/ newsletter or future promotions

8. Winner publicity

By accepting a prize, the winner agrees that the Farm may share their first name, last initial and community (for example, “Sarah M. of Ladysmith”) in giveaway announcements. Photos of the winner will be shared unless they’ve explicitly decline the offer

9. Your personal information

The information you give when entering is used to run the Giveaway and contact the winners. You will only receive marketing emails from Holden Lake Farm & Garden if you check the box to opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell or share your information. 10. General conditions

By entering, you agree to these rules and to the Farm’s decisions, which are final
The Farm may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process or breaks these rules
The Farm may change, pause or cancel the Giveaway if something beyond its control affects it (for example, technical problems or severe weather), subject to any required approvals
The Farm, the donating vendors and Meta are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage connected to the Giveaway or the use of any prize
The Giveaway is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply in BC
